Mike Nezworski – Owner / Arborist / TRAQ
ISA# RM-8801A
Mike grew up in the Northwoods of Wisconsin and Michigan and moved to Wyoming in 2006 where he started his career in construction. He moved to Billings, MT with his family in 2013 and continued in the construction industry for another 4 years. He started cutting trees for friends in 2014 just to help and make a little extra money. In 2017 CM Tree Service and Removal was born and in 2020 he purchased another tree service company to expand the business. Since then, the company has grown exponentially from a couple of friends working weekends with a single boom truck and trailer, to an ever-expanding company, currently with 12 full-time employees and industry leading equipment including spider lifts, grapple trucks and 40-ton crane. Mike’s vision for CM Tree Service has been growth from the start. His biggest goal is to be a good steward in the community and form partnerships that reach beyond what one company can do alone. He prides himself in providing careers for local families, giving donations and helping complete projects for local organizations that impact our community and keeping Billings trees healthy and beautiful for decades to come. Mike serves on the BBWA board and has been recognized as a 40 Under 40 recipient. CM is active in many other organizations in the community including CLDI, Saluting Branches, LaVie, Ramsey Keller Memorial, Spring into Sight and many others. These partnerships are what make CM a great company to be a part of.
Thomas McLaughlin – Production Manager / Crane Operator / Arborist
ISA# RM-9088A
Originally from Northern New York, Thomas spent time in Colorado—where he met his wife—before eventually making Montana home. He has been working in the tree care industry since 2015 and joined the CM Tree Service family in the summer of 2022. Thomas thrives in the trees and brings an unmatched level of energy to everything he does. Known for being “The Hammer,” he’s our Production Manager for a reason. His drive, decisiveness, and deep understanding of operations have helped keep crews moving efficiently and safely. Since joining CM, Thomas has grown significantly in his leadership and management skills, stepping up during pivotal moments and playing a key role in advancing the company. When he’s not working, Thomas enjoys snowmobiling, hiking, and camping with his wife and their dog, Barretta. A lesser-known fact: he’s a big fan of westerns, and if he could meet anyone from history, it would be Wyatt Earp—just to hear what the Wild West was really like.
Zach Munn – Team Lead / Aerial Specialist / Climber
Zach brings almost 20 years of experience in the tree care industry to CM Tree Service, along with a deep passion for education, service, and community involvement. He is widely known for his knowledge of trees, insects, and plant health—and for his willingness to share that knowledge with both clients and teammates. Outside of work, Zach and his wife are raising seven children and live a life rooted in service. Their family is deeply involved in foster care and adoption, and giving back is a core value in the Munn household. Zach also serves his church as a Sunday school teacher and believes strongly in mentoring the next generation. One of Zach’s favorite days of the year is Arbor Day, when he volunteers at the city level to teach local fourth graders how to identify trees in their community. At home, the Munn family stays busy working on their land and raising goats and chickens. If Zach could meet anyone—living or dead—it would be his younger self, with one simple piece of advice: invest in Bitcoin early.
Jaiden Gray – Aerial Specialist / Maintenance Supervisor
Jaiden moved to Montana in 2023 and joined the CM Tree Service team. He is one of the younger members of our team and brought a work ethic that most men his age haven’t even thought about. Even though Jaiden has only been in the industry a short time, he already has set some amazing goals of getting certified to operate the crane and become a certified arborist. Personally, he looks forward to owning his own land and building a shop and home here in Montana.
When Jaiden is not working in the trees, on equipment or controlling the local racoon population, he enjoys hunting, fishing, boating, riding dirt bikes and camping with his 2 dogs. Being originally from Shoshone Idaho, the outdoors are in his blood. If Jaiden could meet anyone living or dead, it would be Johnny Cash so he could hear him sing live. We look forward to helping Jaiden grow within our company and personally through the years and we are blessed to have him as part of our team.
Geno Savini – Consulting Arborist
ISA# RM-9006A
Geno has been a valued member of the CM Tree Service team since August 2024, bringing with him over five years of experience as an agronomist and crop advisor. Here at CM Tree, we know Geno not only for his skills and dedication to getting every job done right, but also for his genuine appreciation of our culture—where high standards and efficient work are the norm.
Outside of work, Geno’s energy and enthusiasm don’t slow down. He’s a country dance instructor, teaching public classes almost every day, and DJs on the side. He even skipped senior prom because the music just didn’t pass his “danceable” test. When he’s not dancing, you’ll probably find him outdoors—whether it’s hunting, fishing, camping, shooting his bow, or exploring new places he’s always on the go.
Geno grew up in Nevada, on a cattle and hay ranch that’s been in his family since 1863. He moved to Billings, for the chance to embrace new opportunities and enjoy everything the area offers for his active lifestyle.
Geno has some big goals for himself: harvesting a bull elk with a bow on public land, growing his dance business, and honing his arborist skills at CM Tree to become the go-to guy for accurate estimates while earning the trust of the entire team.
If he could meet anyone, he would choose JB Mauney, Tom Brady, and Koe Wetzel because of their grit, resilience, and dedication. And if he could have one superpower, he’d slow down time—just to savor life’s best moments a little longer. Amen to that Geno!! I think we would all want that superpower!
Nick White – Plant Healthcare Specialist/Arborist
ISA#RM-371857A
Nick is CM Tree Service’s go-to plant healthcare specialist and resident tree sleuth. With a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science and a professional background that includes everything from turtle tracking to grizzly and black bear specialist, Nick brings a unique blend of science, curiosity, and field experience to diagnosing and treating tree health issues across Billings.
Before joining CM Tree Service, Nick gained a wealth of knowledge —from a wildlife technician and arboretum researcher to environmental ethics tutor and lab tech. He thrives on the detective work involved in identifying pests, uncovering their causes, and developing effective treatments. Every tree has a story, and Nick is the one who figures it out.
Outside of work, Nick is all about adventure. He enjoys hiking, running, kickboxing, lifting weights, archery, snorkeling, and just about anything that gets him outside. He and his wife love to travel and explore new places every year, often accompanied by their two loyal (and energetic) German Shepherd mixes. He’s also committed to giving back, volunteering as a firefighter, wildlife specialist, and river cleanup organizer—once hauling thousands of pounds of junk out of the Yellowstone by drift boat, Nick is committed to preserving our community in many different ways.
Nick is currently working toward his ISA Certified Arborist and Tree Risk Assessment certifications, with long-term goals of earning a Master’s in ecology. His dream? To help preserve an endangered species—or discover a new one!
Fun Fact: He was once approached to compete on Steve Austin’s Broken Skull Challenge.
Superpower of choice? The ability to heal ANY living thing—trees, turtles, or people…
Corey McClure – Groundsman / Equipment Operator
Corey is a dependable member of the CM Tree Service ground crew, where each day brings something new. As a groundsman, he plays a vital role in job site safety, efficiency, and crew support. He was drawn to the industry after realizing the scale and complexity of professional tree work at CM —and because he enjoys working outdoors. One project he’s especially proud to have been part of is the St. Vincent Hospital build, which highlighted teamwork and precision. Corey’s favorite part of CM is the camaraderie. He describes the team as a big family that works hard and supports one another—plus, Mike’s smile doesn’t hurt. He brings strong operating experience and physical strength to his role and is always ready to help. Outside of work, Corey volunteers with Saluting Branches and supports fellow veterans whenever possible. A fun fact: before joining CM, he spent five years as an underground miner. In his free time, he enjoys woodworking, swing dancing, and shooting.
Evan Herzog – Groundsman / Climbing Apprentice
Evan is an apprentice tree climber at CM Tree Service who thrives on the technical challenges of the job. What he loves most about our industry is simple—cutting trees! He enjoys the precision, problem-solving, and physical demands that come with climbing and technical removals. Evan entered the industry at 19 after helping a coworker on a side job, dragging brush, and getting hired the same day. He’s been working in tree care ever since. One of his proudest accomplishments is becoming a tree climber, a role that reflects both his strength and technical ability. What Evan values most about CM is the family-like atmosphere and working with people he genuinely enjoys, both on and off the job. Known for his strength and confidence with a saw, Evan is a dependable presence on every site. A surprising fun fact: Evan completed a NASA internship in high school. Outside of work, he enjoys mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding, and training at the gym. He’s currently looking forward to a mountain biking trip to New Zealand.
Chandra Brown – Business Operations Manager
Chandra was born and raised in rural Montana where she found her love of community involvement and project leadership. After high school she served 4 years in the Air Force as a hydraulics mechanic. She eventually moved to Billings where she now lives with her family. Chandra joined the CM team in June 2021 as a part time office assistant. She has developed her role as the Business Operations Manager for the company and currently handles all the big picture details for the company regarding training, HR, business development and scaling. She thrives in the growth stages of CM by building programs and processes from the ground up to meet the needs of the company. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and chasing after her kiddo’s latest activities and interests as well as spending time in her garden and being involved with the community.
Aleada Wyles – Front Desk Ambassador
Aleada is the friendly voice and welcoming face at the front desk of CM Tree Service. As our Front Desk Ambassador, she keeps communication flowing smoothly while making customers and teammates feel supported from the moment they connect with us. Originally joining the team while simply searching for a new opportunity, Aleada quickly developed an appreciation for the tree care industry and its constant opportunities to learn. One of her proudest accomplishments is purchasing her home, a milestone that reflects her dedication and drive. What Aleada loves most about CM is the culture—built on trust, respect, kindness, and humor. She thrives in an environment where teamwork is valued and employees are trusted to get things done. Known for her sharp wit and “killer sense of humor,” Aleada brings positivity to even the busiest days. Outside of work, she enjoys hobbies that may or may not involve sabotaging Little Debbie snacks. She lives by the motto, “You can’t wait until life isn’t hard anymore before you decide to be happy,” and looks forward to what the future holds for CM Tree Service.
Quentin Mulberry – Aerial Specialist
Quentin joined our team in the Spring of 2024 moving from Oregon with 8 years of timber falling experience. He and his family enjoy hunting, fishing, riding dirt bikes and fixing up old cars. He also enjoys his time spent as a “Southside Vigilante” helping neighbors clear sidewalks and complete random projects around their homes. Quentin is an interesting guy who has his private pilot license; he would love to meet Richard Petty and if he could choose a superpower… it would be to have a young body forever so he can continue to enjoy life to the fullest. His goals for his future involve working because he wants to, and not because he has to.
