Yes. The stump is typically ground down 4-6” below the surface so you will be able to plant sod. We encourage customers to use a mix of remaining grinder shavings, manure and topsoil to fill the section and place the sod on top. This helps to break down the remaining tree and gives good nutrients to the new sod.
No. We need adequate clearance for the machine and some locations cannot be ground down. One of our trained technicians will advise on your specific job.
